Ceramic Obsession | Utah Photographer

Here are individual images from the ceramic exhibit/experiment/awesomeness.

This first one is my favorite from the whole series. The thing I liked about my cup what that while it was usually a red color, it was not decidedly so, and was sometimes blue or purple. I think that this one shows the many characteristics which my cup had. Also, I like the circles of light reflecting off, that was a nice surprise.

(This is a different one, that Kjerstin liked)

I put a small flashlight inside the cup and was surprised to discover that is shown all the way through.

One of my VERY FAVORITE breakfasts is warm rice, cold milk, with cinnamon and honey. And in such a cool cup, it is even awesomer.

It floats!

My other favorite. I love lens flares and ambiguous focusing.

So, a special thanks to Katie Ellis Jahner for a cool idea and a really enjoyable photo shoot. Also, thanks to Kjerstin for modeling for me.

Here is a video I made with the images. (If you are viewing this anywhere other than the blog, you will need to visit the blog for the video)

I love interactive art.

This is my favorite thing you have done so far, smiling from ear to ear!

I attached a picture of myself and "cup" to my note card when I returned it.

I facebook-stalked the artist and sent her a message so she could see this. I wish the quality were better. Someday I will learn how to use a movie editing software
